JL Surfboards, Jean-Luc Roberts, Former NSSA champion

This is a good shaper from the Southbay Redondo Beach area. He has been shaping for atleast 12 years, and as a laminator and a shaper, I can say these are nice surfboards. The lines are clean, the design is sweet, and the finish shaping is very fine, the whole surfboard is professional. I would be very comfortable ordering a surfboard from John-Luc, especially if I were a large person. Jean-Luc is not a small person, if I were to guess I would say he is 6'4" 235 lbs. This helps him build boards for any adult person.
