Lightning strikes the glassing shop, Wilmington Ca. Tuesday, October 19th
Today started as a nice slow day, I went to Palos Verdes High School to help out with their surfboard shaping class. I left at about noon to go home, eat some food, and say hi to my kid. After this I left to go wrap up some surfboards, I needed to router some fin boxes and install some fins. I could hear the rain on the tin roof, it sounded like a waterfall, peltinging my roof with a crackling thunder in the background, I worked away routering finbox after finbox. As I got to my last board, I finished it with ease, looking forward to going home, I rushed to the counter and set down the router... Not a full second later, an explosion!!! It sounded like a bomb went off above my head, no crackle, no echoe just an odd deafening clanging popping explosion. I went outside, after going to the bathroom, to see if anyone saw what had just happened, everyone hit the deck, no visual, but we all know what happened. I will probably be going to church this week. Thanks

Well since this strike, I have not been able to move things with my mind or do any cool math problems in secret while I am supposed to be cleaning the bathroom. So John Travolta you lie... and get back to work Matt Damon.
